Gardenscapes weekend just happened to be our first tradeshow since going live with our raised garden beds website only 4 days prior to the show! The show turned out to be a great success.
It was awesome to see the reactions of people as they strolled around the show, many pausing when passing our booth. The response was overwhelmingly good and we received a lot of feedback. Most people loved our two-tiered 4′ x 8′ garden beds, but for some, it was not exactly what they were looking for.
The feedback received is helping us to develop products that will better fit the needs of more people than our 4′ x 8′ garden box will. We have a 4′ x 4′ x 12″ garden box coming out soon that will be a better fit for those who have a limited space for a garden or flower bed. Our 4′ x 4′ raised bed is also great as a flower bed in a front yard.
Once you have tried raised bed gardening, you’ll never go back to traditional in ground gardening.
We are super excited about another new product that’s in the works!! We have designed a new 2′ x 4′ raised garden bed. This garden or flower box is raised off the ground 30″ and has a bottom with drainage. The soil will be around 15″ deep and has the same great look, strength and maintenance-free style as our 4′ x 8′ garden box.
Our new 2′ x 4′ raised bed will be great for those who:
- Have limited space to garden.
- Want to garden on their condo (or apartment) deck.
- Want to garden on the concrete patio.
- Have limited mobility or are in a wheelchair.
- Have a difficult time bending or squatting to garden.
We are heading to another garden show in Calgary a the end of April. If you are in the area, stop in a say “Hi”.
We love meeting people and talking about gardening. During Gardenscapes we had a gentleman come by our booth and tell us how he grows 16 – 18″ carrots in his raised garden box! Wow! That’s the kind of produce you can expect when you grow produce in a raised bed.
did you see us at Gardenscapes? Do you have any ideas or feedback that would make our product even better? Comment Below.
